The Himalayas, also known as the Abode of Snow, is the highest mountain range in the world. It stretches across six countries, including India.
Day 1Starting the Trek
We start our trek from the village of Manali, a popular tourist destination in the state of Himachal Pradesh. We trek for about 6 hours.
Day 2
Reaching Higher Altitudes
We trek to a higher altitude, crossing a few streams and wooden bridges. We reach our campsite at the foot of a massive glacier.
Day 3
Trekking through Snow
Today, we trek through snow for the first time, which makes the trail more challenging. We also cross a few icy streams and finally reach our campsite near a frozen lake.
Day 4
Summit Day
Today is the most challenging day of the trek as we attempt to summit a peak. The view from the top is absolutely mesmerizing, with snow-capped peaks as far as the eye can see.
Day 5 Descending from the Summit
After summiting the peak, we start descending towards the base camp. The descent is steep and slippery, and we have to be careful while walking on the snow.
Day 6 Relaxing in Hot Springs
After six days of trekking, we take a break and relax in natural hot springs near Manikaran. The hot springs are said to have healing properties.
Day 7 Exploring Manali
After a well-deserved break, we spend our last day in Manali exploring the town. We visit the famous Hadimba Temple, local markets, trying out some delicious Himachali food.

Our trek through the Himalayas was an unforgettable experience. We pushed ourselves to new limits, and witnessed some of the most beautiful landscapes on Earth.
