Sidhu Moosewala

Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, best known by his stage name Sidhu Moose Wala, was a Punjabi singer, rapper, actor, and politician associated with the INC. He was recently shot dead.

Sidhu Moosewala was 6'1" tall and weighed 85 Kg. He had Black eyes and six tattoos including Dasam Granth Quote, Ski Mask, AK 47, and a skull Tattoo.

Sidhu Moosewala was born in Moosa village, Mansa, Punjab, India on 11 June, 1993.

Sidhu Moosewala graduated in Electrical Engineering from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana, Punjab. He was greatly influenced by rapper Tupac Shakur and learned musical skills from Harvinder Bittu in Ludhiana.

His first song "G Wagon" came out in 2017, got famous after the song 'So High' in 2017, made his debut with the film 'Yes, I Am Student' and later appeared in 'Teri Meri Jodi'.

He chose "Moose Wala" as his stage name to pay tribute to his home village. He liked Playing Musical instruments, Driving, and Shopping. He was engaged and was set to marry her in Oct-Nov 2022.

He belonged to a Sikh Jatt family with a farming background. His parents were Balkaur Singh and Charan Singh, the Sarpanch of the village Moosa in Mansa.

Sidhu Moose Wala's Net Worth was Rs 31 Crores. He used to charge around 20 Lakhs for one concert. He owned 3 Range Rovers, an Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Z, a Hummer H2, and a Toyota Fortuner.

Moosewala was famous among Indian Youth. His songs 'So High, Same beef, Just Listen, Famous from the album PBX1, and Badfella' got millions of views on Youtube and were enjoyed by the audience.

He had a huge following of 8.6 m on Instagram. He won prestigious awards for Best Lyricist, Best Album, and Track of the Year. He also topped the iTunes charts and was ranked at number 8 on the Apple Music charts in India in 2020. 

The Last Ride

Fans spotted an uncanny resemblance between Moosewala's last song titled the Last Ride and his death. Somehow, Sidhu’s song foretold his death.

He was traveling in his Mahindra Thar SUV to visit his aunt in Barnala when he was shot over 30 times by around eight to 10 attackers in broad daylight. He died at the age of 27 on 29th May 2022.
